I wasn’t sure about this light at first so I got a variety to see if there was a difference. This one casts a warm light while my other plant light casts a “bright” light. I would say this didn’t get hot and didn’t seem to grow my seedlings any better than the other one with a E26 end. This was a GU10 which was a little annoying because I needed any adapter, however I still found this to be a great value. I have left this on continuously for over three weeks and it’s doing really well. I haven’t noticed a drop in performance or functionality which should be a testament to its durability and longevity. The lifespan is great so far and it fit a standard lamp after I purchased an adapter, which was cheap and worth it.

Basically this is just a spare LED bulb for a grow lamp. It’s 5 watts, full spectrum and suits from germination / seeding, to seedling, to plant.

This will be for using in fixtures that accommodate the GU10 variation bulb only. This is a full spectrum light and it has a pleasant luminance. The Par16 style is more for a targeted placement with a narrow beam, so this will not “blanket” a grouping of plants and is most ideal for seed sprouting and early stage growth of seedlings. Gives both light and heat, with a ceramic end to help displace heat efficiently so it won’t overheat. So far so good, it’s a little workhorse.

Having a slight dilemma, my home office is a room in our basement with no windows, but I love plants. I found an articulating lamp arm that would accommodate this bulb, and have been using it over that last couple months. This bulb does exactly what it says. My plants are happy and healthy!

This builb is only 5 watts so keep that in mind when choosing a plant and lamp location. Best in small lamp and for a medium to small house plant. Its not insanely bright but good enough for that use.
I only removed a star because the items box was in ROUGH shape, the bulb appears undamaged however.
