This plant light is a little different than what time was expecting. It does not come with a pot. The base reservoir has a hole in it and has a wick that you should insert into the bottom hole of the pot of your choosing.
The stand is thick plastic and looks kind of clumsy. However, the light works great and is adjustable as far as angle. It does not get any taller though. I do wish the cord was longer. It seems like any space I have that big enough for the chunky base is too far away from any outlets.
This light will worm fine for short houseplants with a hole open in the bottom of the pot.

I’m so happy with this plant grow light—it’s both super bright and super easy to use! The LED light is really powerful and feels like natural sunlight. My plants, even those that need a lot of light, are growing so much better indoors. The light is adjustable too, so I can raise it as my plants get taller to make sure they get the right amount of light at every stage.

Having a grow light with a self watering base is the best of both worlds. The combination allows you to fully care for your houseplant. LED lights give off a nice amount of light, easy set up, easy to use. Holds a decent sized houseplant, more wide than tall, though adjustable. I think 9″ pot would be max width.
