   I wish it grabbed more strongly but it holds the grow light which is heavy.
   It does sag low but hasn’t fallen off the wooden lamp stand I had to put it on.

   Very practical for all occassions and easy to assemble with a light bulb and just clamp that baby where you desire to perch your light. Nice lengthy cord attached which is a big plus cause that gives more options for where to place it. Well made and functional. Love it.

   I bought a red light for therapy and although the clip is very strong, and hard to open, the rubber still slips off the wood cupboard I hang it from. Ill use it for other types of light, maybe for outside. *kanye shrug*

   I bought this light socket as a simple housing for bulbs to be used for lighting around home projects and in my garage. You get what you pay for here. The housing is very fragile and the first was delivered broken and freely replaced by ecogrowhawaii.com. The item does work but be gentle. I have it setup in my garage for extra lighting and I simply do not touch it. The gripping clamp is OK but you should be careful as to which way the weight is directed so it doesn’t unclamp by accident. I gave it 4 stars because it does work and it’s very inexpensive.

   I needed it to have light in a corner that has no space for a torcheir or table lamp. So I clamped this on to the pipes in the corner. This alone didn’t look pretty so I jazzed it up with a lamp ring and strings of crystals hot glued in to the lamp ring.

    I love blow mold decorations but because they are old, the Light kits for them sometimes have to be replaced. The replacement kits run from $20-$40. My giant pumpkin needed the light replaced and I didn’t want to spend the money. It wasn’t easy but I was able to clamp this light to the inside of the pumpkin through the opening for the light kit in the back. Then added a led light (changed all the lights in the decorations to led), connected it to the timer and it worked perfectly. It’s a tight squeeze getting my hand in the pumpkin with the light clipped to the opening to change the light but hopefully that won’t happen for a long time!
