  • Been running this light for 2 months now. Very happy with them, and highly recommend them. They were very easy to install, the brightness and the timer are customizable. The timer reliably comes on/goes off at the same time daily at my selected brightness level (unlike some of my other grow lights with timers that lose time and need reset one a week or so to keep them on the right timetable).

  • I bought a 4 pack of 2' lights. then bought another 4 pack after I saw how nice they are. A friend of mine and I both have small indoor greenhouses and have been starting vegetable seeds for the spring garden. I am using four of the lights and gave four to my friend. We both have had good luck with seeds germinating and growing under the pink light. The lights generate a little heat which warms up the greenhouses to the high 70s during the day creating a great environment for the young plants. The clear plastic covers on the seeding flats get coated with moisture on the inside of he cover. My only criticism about the lights is the hanging system, when trying to use the hook on the chain. the hook is too small to reliably stay in the groove on the top of the case. After spending a lot of time trying to get the hook system to work, I realized it was much easier to use thin metal wire to attach to the case, then wrap over the the greenhouse bar that the light hangs from. The company might take a look at the design or provide lengths of wire to use. Otherwise the lights are Class A!

  • I have had these grow lights for two years now and they have worked great for getting my seedlings started here early in south western Idaho. I started my seeds in March to get a jump start on the growing season. Im currently running 4 of the lights over my starters . Plenty of light and my plants are doing excellent, health and growing well. Great price , nice quality and all the connections you need to get them up and running.

  • Great light. Didn't expect the ppfd that was advertised(never do). Around 400 par at 12 inches, can't complain. Works great for what I needed it for. Fits my 2x4 seedling and teen mom tent perfect. It's featherweight compared to the lights I've used in the past. The installation was easy and I like the threaded hangar it's very sleek. The most surprising thing to me tho was how cool it stayed, I don't have a thermo gun but I doubt surface temp got above 80. Good job Spider Farmer. Now just make them more affordable and we can talk about outfitting my entire grow with them.

  • These are amazing. I love that you can move them and they don’t have to be all connected. The quality is very nice. Definitely bright. Just what I needed for my plants indoor. Soon I will be starting my outdoor veggies and I will be using these lights as well. I ended up buying another set.

  • This lights are fantastic & an excellent value for the money! Very easy to assemble and are quality/built to last. The adjustable height tripod & 2 rotating heads provide unlimited options/range & are extremely flexible. The lights can also work independently or together. I love the 3 different timing options & light brightness options! Very easy to operate and my plants are happy for the winter! 💡 Well thought out design. Highly recommend!

  • At the very beginning of every February I start all of my garden plants under grow lights in my basement. I start planning and planting and getting ready to have beautiful vegetable plants to put in my garden come May 1st. For the last couple of years I've used a 4'x2' Hydrofarm Agrobright FLT44 (8 bulbs - 420watts) flourescent light rack. It has worked great for me, but the bulbs are so expensive to replace and you usually have to replace several (sometimes half) of the bulbs each year. I decided to go LED this year and am SO happy with that choice. I got two different lights to use because I had outgrown being able to use just one grow light for my plants. I got the SERWING 3000W LED Grow Light and I also got one that is basically the same but slightly bigger, the SERWING 4000W LED Grow Light. When my packages came in the mail and I opened them I was very impressed with their packaging. Both of them were packaged tightly with lots of foam and the lights didn't wiggle around at all. Everything was in good shape and ready to use. ------------------- SERWING 3000W LED Grow Light-This set can get light to an area of about 5'x5' and does a great job helping my plants grow. When they get bigger (if they aren't outside yet) the light coverage for flowering plants is 4'x4' because you have to lower the light down closer to the plants. This set comes with: -The 3000W LED Grow Light -2-17.5in Wire hangers for hanging your light -2 Black ratchetting lanyards for raising and lowering your light when needed (These are THE BEST!) -1-1.5m Power plug wire -A thermometer -The user manual For seedlings you should have the "veggie" light on and have it about 32-36 inches away from your plants. When they get a little bigger you are supposed to have the "Veggie" light on and the "Bloom" light on and keep it 24-32 inches above your plants. And then if you have actual fruiting plants under your lights you just have the "fruit" light on and keep your grow light about 18-24 inches away from your plants. ------------------------- -SERWING 4000W LED Grow Light This set can get light to an area of about 6'x6' for growing seedlings. When they get bigger before you move them outside the light coverage for flowering plants is 4.5'x4.5' because you have to lower the light down closer to the plants. This set comes with: -The 4000W LED Grow Light -2-17.5in Wire hangers for hanging your light -2 Black ratcheting lanyards for raising and lowering your light when needed (once again I LOVE THESE!) -1-1.5m Power plug wire -A thermometer -The user manual For seedlings you should have the "veggie" light on and have it about 24" inches away from your plants. Once you have fruiting plants you need to keep the light about 18-24 inches away from your plants. Depending on the stage that your plant is in you can use both the "veggie" and "bloom" lights or just the "veggie light." ---------------------------- The light that comes from these grow lights is much more energy efficient than my old fluorescent one and doesn't produce so much heat. The fluorescent lights convert about 30% of the electricity into heat, while the LED's only convert 10-20% into heat. There was almost no assembly that needed to happen with these lights. All I had too do is attach the metal hanging straps and carabiner then hang them on my hooks that I already have on the roof. These lights also have a fan built into them which is awesome! It helps cool the grow light while also getting some much needed air movement around my plants. My plants are so happy and growing so fast! Both of these lights are excellent for growing and do a top notch job at keeping my plants alive. I am very happy with both of these lights.

  • The light quality and output is excelent! My indoor plants have grown with a noticeable change. Power consumption is minimal with LED design and heat output is low.

  • I bought this light because I put a raspberry garden in a spot that does not get enough sun. It’s extremely bright. Does not quite cover my entire 4x2 bed but I will make do and move it as needed. Does let off some heat but it’s after 3 hours of checking i would say it’s not too bad.

  • I purchased this with intent to help my potted lemon tree live a happy life. My lemon tree has grown over 20 new leaves from having the light. It was dropping its leaves before I introduced this light and losing its growing lemons. This is a great purchase. Worth the money. I would even like to have a second of these lights and hang my current one to better reach to other plants as most of my house plants could use some additional “sunshine”

  • When I first ordered these, I didn't expect too much. I figured, most grow lights on ecogrowhawaii.com majorly exaggerate how much light output there actually is and these won't work for actual plant growth -- but hey, maybe they'll be helpful for freshly transplanted seedlings that need reduced light intensity for a couple days to avoid transplant shock. Well, I was wrong! At the distance from the light to the top of the solo cups underneath it, I measured a PPFD of about 300, which is pretty decent for young seedlings: it'll promote growth without scorching them. It's about the same output I get with a certain popular brand of shop/grow light that most amateur gardeners use for seed starting, but with that brand it takes two lights to get the same output. Not bad! Peak output right underneath the panels measured at a PPFD of 2,052 μmol/m²/s, which is pretty decent. Definitely don't put your plants right up against these! Since they don't come with reflectors, you'll want to use Photone or a light measurement device to make sure your coverage is adequate, and maybe use a couple boards per shelf on your growing setup. This is also a good idea to check for consistency: I noticed the PPFD was 300 toward the edges of the board but closer to 250 right underneath, so the brightness may not be uniform with just one board. I like that the cord has a built in timer which can be set for 4, 8, or 12 hours. I will say though, I wish it had more customization because 14-16 hours is the sweet spot for many seedlings in my experience. But it's not too hard to hit the 4 hour button later in the day. Obviously I can't speak for the longevity of these since I've only had them a short while, but I'll update this if they give out prematurely. I also can't speak to whether these are truly "full spectrum" or not, because I haven't measured the different wavelengths (not sure if Photone does that, but if not, I don't even have the tool for it). I like that they come as flat panels, which makes them perfect for securing to the bottom of a shelf or cupboard, unlike the bulky overhead of using shop lights like many people do. I also like that they come with a set of 3M adhesive strips and also plenty of zip ties, giving you multiple ways to mount them to your setup. You get five light boards total, which isn't bad for the current price (under $50 at the time of review). Overall I'd say these are a great value and perhaps one of the best grow light buys you'll find on ecogrowhawaii.com right now.

  • Much better than expected. My apartment is very dark, especially in winter and my devil's ivy is the only plant to survive the winter but even that seemed to go dormant and lose a few leaves. I bought these lamps hoping to just keep the leaves it grew over summer but was surprised when the plant produces a bunch of new, tiny leaves with only about 4 hours of use a day total, and now with the spring sun combined with the lamps the plant is also growing much larger. I used to have so many plants before I moved into this cave of an apartment and they died off and am so excited to at least be able to bring in more low light plants, maybe even more, thanks to these lamps.

  • How good they work, I love them, not only they help my plants, but the lights are beautiful! I get lots of compliments!

  • This worked perfectly for replacing a busted HID Ballast on my 2007 Prius. Following the tutorial at PriusDIY, it was pretty a straightforward installation. It did seem to change the color temperature of my headlight on the passenger side slightly compared to the factory HID Ballast on the driver side(see attached picture). This ballast causes the headlight to put out a slightly warmer color than the bluish output from the factory HID Ballast on the driver side. Oh well, I'm driving it around as is until I have some free time to order another one of these to replace the driver's side so I can get color temperature uniformity. Giving it 4 stars because of this.
