  • I ordered a 4 ft 6-pack of growing lights WITHOUT timers in February 2023. During the growing season, I used the lights for 12 hours per day, and I had a fantastic experience. The product was reliable, and I got great results with my seedlings – 5 stars! However, when I ordered the lights WITH timers, my experience was completely different. Under the same conditions, the first timer melted after just 10 hours of use. I initially thought it was a factory defect, so I replaced the broken light with another one. Unfortunately, after 10 hours of use, the new timer caused a fire inside my house. Please be cautious when using these lights with timers.

  • I've bought other brands of these light strings and loved them, but these are garbage. The bulbs can't even be screwed in without falling apart. I bought two of the 6 string ones. With just the slightest twist strength, the first bulb's end cap twisted right off, which is now stuck in the socket. I opened the second string hoping it was just a one-off defect, 2 more bulbs did the exact same thing. The bulbs are unusable on both sets, and the strings now have broken end caps stuck in the sockets. I've bought 19 or 20 of these similar style grow light strings from different sellers in the past year with little or no issues ("Auraqify" seems to be the best brand/seller.) These are useless, and potentially could be dangerous.

  • This 100W (actual, I confirmed) Grow Light from the SOMYMORE Store appears to be a very good lighting value at the current price of only $55.99; that's with a 30% savings coupon included. Especially since it has all the makings of a solid product. Here’s why… ✔︎ Excellent build quality and attention to detail. All metal exterior body, internal cooling fan, soft touch digital display…it’s a combination of features that really makes this grow light shine. No pun intended. ✔︎ The soft touch digital display is unlike any I’ve seen before. It’s very cool. Options include ON/OFF, lighting mode or growth stage (seeding, vegetative, and bloom), intensity/brightness (10-100%), and timer. The buttons respond to the lightest touch. ✔︎ The cooling fan does a great job keeping the fixture cool, and the sound is not as disturbing as some cooling fans I’ve heard. In fact, I wouldn’t have any problem placing this grow light in the kitchen or other gathering place. Although it’s best kept away from crowds. More for safety reasons. ✔︎ From the dimensions of the diodes, they appear to be of the 2835 series. Probably the most common LED found in consumer grow lights. And for good reason, they offer a good balance of output efficiency and cost. ✔︎ The grow light has a total LED count of n=256, laid out in a 16 x 16 array. The color distribution (my count) is as follows: n=106 (Warm White 3000K) n=106 (Cool White 5000K) n=4 (Blue 460nm) n=36 (Red 660nm) n=4 (IR 730nm) ✔︎ The light has n=3 different lighting modes. They are “SEEDLING”, “VEG”, and “BLOOM”. Not surprisingly, they are more similar than not, with the 3000K and 5000K white LEDs making up the bulk of the array. In fact, the only distinguishing LED feature is that Seedling has n=4 Blue and Bloom has n=4 IR. Although a count of 4 seems like a very small number, relatively speaking, it could be enough to contribute to the full-spectrum profile. I'm just not sure... ✔︎ Using a quantum PAR meter, I found that the peak PPFD from each of the 3 modes varies by less than 10% of MAX. For example, at a distance of 12-inches, SEEDLING was 595 umol/s/m2, VEG was 572 umol/s/m2, and BLOOM was 613 umol/s/m2. This should come as no surprise considering they only differ by a handful of LEDs. Still, of the 3 modes, BLOOM has the highest PPFD output, followed by SEEDLING, then VEG. This correlates with the power consumption (W). ✔︎ The listing provides PPFD maps at three different distances, 12, 14, and 18-inches. Peak values from the maps are shown below compared to peak PPFD measurements that I collected with the grow light in BLOOM mode. 12-inches Listing...1134 BLOOM...613 14-inches Listing….653 BLOOM...458 18-inches Listing….450 BLOOM...289 ✔︎ The illumination pattern of the grow light provides enough core PAR coverage for a 2' x 2' grow tent. Maybe even 4' x 4'. ✔︎ The timer feature works as expected. No surprises here. ✔︎ The grow light has some weight to it, checking in at just over 3lb on a scale. I have it suspended from a heavy-duty light stand, and it’s a good set-up. But the stand has to be heavy-duty to manage the weight. ✔︎ The listing advertises a 1-year warranty. Unfortunately, I did not see any mention of a warranty in the user manual. It might be worth checking with the seller to confirm. Overall, this is a solid grow light for under $60.00. The only observation that gave me pause is the relatively low number of “unique” LEDs that are intended to broaden the full-spectrum profile. On the other hand, I’m not an expert when it come to horticultural lighting, so it very well may be that a grow light only needs a handful of Blue or IR LEDs to make a difference. Regardless, the PPFD output is good, and the build quality is exceptional. As long as the electronics hold-up over the long term, this could be a fantastic value buy. Especially if the warranty holds up. I’m happy to recommend. Based largely on the build quality and the PPFD output. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

  • Plants seem to love it. I have it on 100% 18/6 schedule. It gets a little warm but nothing to worry about. When I use this with my AC turned off it gets up to 90 °. But this is my first grow and I want to get another one.I recommend this if you want a good light with decent price tag. This stuff is heavy duty and easy to install. If you have this in your cart I say pull the trigger... you can't go wrong .

  • As an avid hobby gardener who starts many seedlings, I'm always looking for ways to upgrade my plant lighting setup. That's why I was excited to try this pack of LED grow light set. The kit includes four T8 LED strips (each about 22-inches long), a control with timer, and mounting equipment. What I love is the flexibility these lights offer - you can adapt them to your specific situation by using either the included double-sided tape, zip-ties, or mounting clips for a more permanent solution. I chose to use the double-sided tape to mount three of the LED strips on my older fluorescent plant light, which still gets plenty of use. This upgrade is just what I needed! I now have the option of using just the LEDs, the fluorescent lights, or a combination of both - giving me more control over the lighting conditions for my seedlings and house plants. Not only do these LED grow lights provide full-spectrum 4K light, but they're also energy-efficient. With lower wattage than my traditional fluorescent lights, I'm saving money on my electricity bill while still getting great results from my plants. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking to upgrade their plant lighting setup or start a new one. The flexibility and cost-effectiveness of these LED grow lights make them an excellent choice for amateur gardeners like me.

  • They work well in my green house that I have out back. Keeping everything green even though it's January now. They do produce a good amount of heat and for what I want from them it's great. I plan on buying two more so I can have a solid two rows of them.

  • I love absolutely everything about this light. I’ve been using it now since March of 2023, and I must say, it’s just as effective as it is beautiful. I originally got this light because I have a Majesty Palm that requires lots of light and lots of water. Majority of people I’ve come across have not been successful in keeping these trees long term indoors, most dying after a few weeks to a month. Since having this light, I have had substantial growth from this tree, to the point where it has just about outgrown my home. I’m no longer going to be able to keep her indoors. I wholeheartedly believe this light has everything to do with that and I will NEVED use anything else for any of my plants. The timer that comes with is a godsend. All I did was set it, and forget it. No hassle. Easy to install and comes with everything needed to install in the wall and ceiling. My home is very modern, and the sleek design of this light caught my eye, and immediately after, the price! I was specifically looking for something like this, but everything I found was just not affordable at that time or unattainable. I’m so glad I ordered this light. I posted it on social media and it was a hit, garnering 100k views, 26k likes and thousands of comments. Also, customer service for this company is out of this world. I reached out to support once and was met with the most understanding and compassionate service I think I’ve had by an ecogrowhawaii.com seller, or customer service in general honestly. They were so awesome. My rep was named Sunny, and I honestly wish more companies had people like him. I recommend this light 1000 times over, seriously, it is awesome for its price! The company offers a standing versions and I want to get that one next as well to add other plants on my home!

  • The Spider Farmer SF1000D LED Grow Light is a game-changer for indoor growing! I'm absolutely blown away by its performance and can confidently give it a 5-star rating. Here's why: Unbelievable Light Output: This little powerhouse packs a serious punch. The Samsung LM301B diodes deliver a full spectrum light that my plants absolutely love. I've seen a noticeable increase in growth rate and overall health compared to my previous grow lights. Perfect for Small Spaces: The SF1000D is the ideal size for smaller grow tents or even for supplementing natural light. It provides excellent coverage without taking up too much space. Energy Efficient: Despite the powerful light output, this grow light is surprisingly energy efficient. My electricity bill hasn't skyrocketed, which is a huge plus. High-Quality Construction: The build quality is top-notch. The light feels sturdy and well-made, and I can tell it's going to last. Easy to Use: Setting up the SF1000D was incredibly simple. It's basically plug-and-play. The included hanging kit makes it easy to adjust the height as my plants grow. Overall, the Spider Farmer SF1000D has exceeded all my expectations. It's a fantastic value for the price, providing exceptional light quality and coverage for my plants. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced grower, I highly recommend this LED grow light!

  • CONS -One wheel has the wrong size threaded bolt on mine. This could of been from whoever they order the wheels from but it made it passed everyone into the box. (Pictured) -Lights are supposed to be "1 single plug" and "2 pass through" so you can daisychain to the outlet. I received "2 single plug" lights and "1 pass through" so I could only use 2 out of the box... I had to splice into the other light for power and reassemble. (Pictured) PROS -lighting is pretty good. I use it for my ornamental cactus seedlings and a few house plants. -shelves are sturdy for me, no bowing. BOTTOM LINE If you order with the discount it is worth it for $99. If you can't fix the problems you might encounter like pictured, you could return and try again. I would order more myself but not for $130, I'll wait tell the discount comes back. Hope this helps buyers in the future. Have a good day.

  • I use this for my ladies It’s great and works well With lighting for canna / PPFD is the most important thing you want to have re: lighting This had a PPFD score of around 1000 umol when about 12 inches from plant canopy when VEG and BLOOM switched are on (see pics) Pics are of the meter at canopy level with Bloom and veg switch on App is called Photone on apple iPhone if needed Great item and so far so good Posting pics as well so show these things There is no way to ask any questions about this to the buyer directly but the PPFD reading is most important re: indoor canna growing. These two lights are good for my little plants as shown by PPFD readings on top of the canopy. I have a small 2x2x4 tent with 4 plants - 2 of these lights, 4 inch in-line fan and filter. Works well to promote growth for the plants. As you may read online that LED lights on ecogrowhawaii.com are “cheap junk” but if the PPFD level is what these pics show then the light is good and doing its job— these lights are legit and provide ample light to the plant canopy - great item I def recommend it

  • It went together fine, seems sturdy, and the light has good coverage/brightness. For now, I'm trying to see if it can resurrect a mostly dead plant that was light deprived, but I plan to use this more when I go on vacation along with an auto-watering system I own. My only real complaint is I don't really understand how the timer works. There are 3 LEDs labelled 4H, 8H, and 12H. The timer bottom toggles between each of these, but also has a mode where none are lit. I'm guessing 'none' means to stay on 24 hours a day? I'm guessing if I choose something like 8H, that it means it is going to go on 8 hours every 24 hours? All the instructions say is the following, which to me, just makes everything even more confusing... In ONE 24 hour cycle each color has a different time cycle. * the Red light stays on for 4 hours. it then goes OFF for 20 hours, then back on. * the Green light stays on for 8 hours. it then goes OFF for 16 hours, then back on. * the Blue light stays on for 12 hours. it then goes OFF for 12 hours, then back on.

  • Small enough for shelf, came with everything needed to neatly place lights. Pretty bright.
