These are great lights. Attractive, inexpensive, adjustable, easy to assemble and use. I bought two and love the way they blend into the environment. The timer and dimmer options work well. Turn in the light at the time you want it to turn on everyday. Then press the timer option 4-6-12 hours and that’s it. The light will come on each day and stay on for the hours you chose.
Great mini LED panels, decent ppfd. I 3d printed the hoods, they are not included.
This set of macrame plant hangers is really cute. They're really simple in design but add such a nice boho vibe. The set of grow lights that come with this are really nice as well. The different options of lighting they provide is top tier. I've had several grow lights and these really come with all the bells and whistles. They have the timer, brightness control and even a variety of light spectrums which is pretty extensive in terms of options, so I was really happy with that. They definitely will help the plants thrive during the winter months. The wires on these lights are also long enough for functionality. They are a tad longer than most smaller lights of this size that I've used which is really nice that this was thought through in the design since this would be hanging so it would need to be longer to reach outlets. The way the lights attach to the hangers is just by being placed on the ring on the top of the hangers and I found that it was a bit awkward. It was a rather difficult to get it to look flush but at least it felt secure and didn't feel like they would fall through onto my plants. See photo for reference. Another thing to be aware of is that because that ring is there, it kind of restricts the width of these hangers causing them to be a bit on the narrower side so be aware of this fact when buying for your plants. It worked well for me but I'm not sure I would recommend it for use with bigger and bushier plants. Overall, I really like this set of hangers with grow lights for the quality of the lights and the super cute design and would recommend them to others.
This lamp has a nice, heavy base that easily supports the weight of the lamp and will conveniently fit under a table or even a low chair. The height is adjustable, it is easy to put together; warnings: once you've completed 'step 2', putting the middle pole to the bottom pole, it will most like NOT come apart (I tried, I wanted to take it downstairs, had to take it assembled). It lights up nicely, with three settings, and the timer works well, too. I do wish one could set it for more than 12 hours, but oh well, it is what it is. If you've looked at my pictures, you'll see that the instruction 'pamphlet' is very small, but it has all necessary information. Now, price. At first, I felt this was a bit spendy as one can get grow lights that cover much more area, with similar output, for at least $10-$15 less; then I considered: and pay more for a timer, and more for heighr adjustors... four and a half stars, round up to five.
This is a beast of a light. I will definitely be getting a few more when my grow area expands. Super easy to set up and get started. Best value for the money.
This light is awesome. I live in an apartment and only have one window in the living room. This light really does a great job in providing the light my plants need.
The Barrina LED Grow Light, 252W(6 x 42W) 4ft T8, Full Spectrum, V-Shape with Reflector, Linkable Design, Plant Lights for Indoor Plants, 6-Pack seems to be well made, is very bright without being too bright to work near, and has a nice purplish glow that isn’t so purple as to wash out the natural color when looking at the plants. [Other lights require filtered glasses because of the brightness, and to see the plants in their green color.] But the big selling point is the configurability: you determine how to space the light tubes. Two to four per shelf would seem to be the range for a rack, or you could use all 6 above or below a table. You can set up different shelves with different numbers of lights. E.g. a rack that is higher above the plants might have more lights than one that is closer to them. Or, for house plants, especially succulents, you can have more lights wired into the sequence during the growing season, and fewer during the resting period. If specific plants start to burn, it’s easy to remove one light from the pair (or trio) and use it somewhere else. Down the road, if one light fails after several years, it is easy to bypass the wiring, rather than having the whole set being unusable. They attach very easily to the kind of wire racks many people use for growing house plants. The package includes extra zip ties, in case you want to rearrange or move the lights. Also included is hardware to instead attach the lights to a wooden shelf using screws, as well as double sided tape. Time will tell how reliable they are, but so far, they seem to be a good investment.
Don’t waste your money don’t buy this growing light it stopped working after 2 months. All of the sudden it won’t turn on anymore. Poor quality. I don’t recommend it.
I ordered the 1000W lights and hooked them up last night. They are very bright and the fans are quiet. They put off a bit of heat so good airflow is definitely important. Since I ordered 2, I have one Thermostat just under the lights, and another right where my tallest plant is and there is a temp difference of nearly 5 degrees F. The Thermo/Humidistat that comes with the light's instructions are in chinese, I have attached a translated version of the manual card to this review. The switch for C/F is on the back underneath the stand (its just a button) I will update this with pictures and a fuller review once they have made it through a full grow cycle. For now though, for the $60/light that I paid these are an amazing value.
This light is so bright!! It's perfect for smaller spaces that need some extra lighting. I put it in my dad's living room, right behind his sofa and the controls are the perfect height, they are not blocked by the sofa. They are easy to control, by light touch, you can dim the light, make it brighter, power on/off, and even connect it to Alexa for voice control. This is perfect, as my dad's living room never had an actual light, always table lamps, which are no longer there, so it is incredibly dark. He has big dogs that do not have the best manners, this light fits perfectly in the corner and there is no risk of the dogs knocking it over. My dad also suffers from severe macular degeneration, and is virtually blind, but this light helps him immensely! It was simple to assemble and set up, takes up no additional space, and brightens the room so much, it's amazing! The style reminds me of those photography lights with it's round head and tall aluminum stand. I am very happy with this lamp and I would recommend to anyone who needs a bright, user friendly light!
I needed some grow lights for some seedlings I’m hoping to grow. I got theses hoping they would do the trick. I was surprised how large and heavy they are. The light on them is great and there’s not only a timer, but the lights can be dimmed or strengthened. They are definitely great and meant more for larger potted plants than what I’m using them for. On that note, the picks don’t adjust but you can definitely make it work (as I managed to). My biggest complaint is that the lights are attached which means you can’t adjust one and not the other. The settings are for both. Other than that, I’m pretty sure these will still work great for what I need.
