For some reason, I thought that the product illustration with all the bulbs was intended to show that the light is flexible and could be put in a variety positions. Turns out, this really does have 6 separate lights - if it had 2 more, it would be an octo-light! It was easy to put together and the height is adjustable. It has a manual on/off switch and three timer buttons so you can "set it and forget it." It is super, super bright, and the light arms are adjustable. My original plan was to use it to grow some basil in my kitchen (which is otherwise too dark) but now that I see how much light it makes, I think I can probably grow the entire produce department at home!

I just started my indoor gardening journey at the start of December and added this light to help my plants grow. The installation is very easy, as simple as extending the pole to your desired height and tightening a screw. The app is not clear on how to set the timer or differentiate the colors but it does work (the app is the reason I didn't give the light 5 stars). The remote is connected to the wire that plugs into the outlet so I wouldn't necessarily count it as a remote. The price of the product is great and you do get the various colors. I have been using it with all 3 colors at once. I am quick to give up on my plants and the grow light has encouraged me to continue with growing my plants! Plan to buy more as I extend my plant collection. Love the durability, quality, and price of this item.

This grow light works beautifully with my "bright indirect light" plants. I don't think this will work well for "full sun" plants, as my plants that require full sun are not thriving under this light, even though this lamp is incredibly bright. The timer is pretty easy to set up, but because it is not digital if you unplug it, you'll have to reset again. I think some folks are stating that they had issues setting up the timer because it is in a 24 hour military time format (0000-2359). If it's too complicated, you can easily use a digital or smart timer. My plants are doing well, and this was definitely a good investment for my little plant family.

HUGE value for money. Built extremely well and easy to install. Very bright and actually seem to put out a bit of heat under the beams. Not sure of lifespan but based on the build and heat sink on the LED housing they should last quite some time. Super functional and the compact size would make them fit almost anywhere. Only thing I wish was the regulator box on the end of the cord was detachable for easier cable routing through smaller holes.

My plants needed light on the lower part of the plant so the grow lights worked perfectly to help them grow ❤️

Perfect plant light! Bright, has a timer, and very easy to use and adjust. The neck of the light is very tough and strong and won’t fall over or move its position easily. Worth the money!

Everything was in the box, neatly in its place, the only thing I really had to install was the light itself with everything you need already furnished. The tripod was already set up, just a little adjusting, so far I'm loving my grow light!! It's very easy to operate and works beautifully so far, I hope it works a great as everyone else says it does, that's why I purchased it. The price was great also and I love the tripod and light adjustments this light gives you. It's very lightweight. One thing I found out is to give the plants light during the day, not at night, even though they may be getting daylight in the winter, this growlight will give them the boost they need. Plants need a break from light during the night-time just like people. Too much light can actually harm your plant. I set this light at 80% starting off the first week and then at 100% there on on the 12 hour timer, this grow light is like a plant nanny and literally takes care of my plants for me. The timer works flawlessly. I recommend starting your timer from 8 a.m. till 8 p.m., that's about the amount of light they would get in the summer time, which has been perfect for my plants so far, they are loving this light and the investment was well worth it!! It has the full spectrum light they need and are already showing amazing improvement. Trust me, if you give them the light during the day and let them rest during the night they will show you love back by doing what you want them to do by growing!!

Extremely pleased with my results from this light. I used them for removing yellowing from my sneakers and it worked wonderfully. Had about 6 pairs that needed yellowing removal and was able to get all 6 sneakers done within 2 days. Ordered this light 3 times. 1st one was faulty and gave me refund. 2nd one never showed. ecogrowhawaii.com's fault and the 3rd finally showed. Put it to use right away and saw a difference in product extremely fast. Showed some before and after pictures for those considering this light for this use.

I just received my Majestic Palm on the first day, I received my HMVPL 40WATT GROW LIGHT on the next day now i'm no where new to grow lights as a matter fact I already run few 10" Halo Grow Lights yes 10" Halo Grow Lights pushing out 65000K and yes 65000K that's equal to the color HID head lights a nice light purple/blue color at about 20watts but as soon as I ignited the new HMVPL 40WATT GROW LIGHT about an hour later my palm trees leaves started to reached for the light you could tell they actually moved in that hour and I missed it, lol but this light is so impressive with its 4000k color its more of a white/incandescent look but what's so amazing about this look it makes the plant look 3D yes 3D its really freaky on the eyes and yet the light does not hurt your eyes what so ever! And also I notice I must have a new upgraded model because the wire looks like its a heat resist electric wire not a raping and my plant is in the first stage I have not yet put the Self Watering Pot, Sand, Clay, Diatomaceous Earth Etc... on the plant yet so I will send a updated picture in a few weeks so that you can see how bolden and powerful this light can muster up if it keeps up what I seen in this first hour in a few weeks Sending this light back because of its con! Well its been a week so I will give you the con's and pros of this light Pro's: this light is very well made and is nothing short of amazing 1. the light is a pure light so pure makes your plants look 3D 2. this light will also though out heat so the plant can even feel the warmth of humidity 3. this light is pretty heavy making it more then very well bult 4. your plant really will grow and look more healthier then the halo lights Con's 1. the pole is tall but on carpet it is a little unstable 2. when angling on plants it has more of a diagonal light flow making it ideal for more of a book end type lighting with a light on either side being able to handle more then a few plants! In turn I am sending only this model back because im not really am not going to have a huge array of plants just one in each corner of my living room and to huge plants in the middle on each the side of my living room so I have already ordered the same light but in the ceiling type fixuture so that I can have it straight directly on top of the Majestic Palm plant using all its light pattern

I needed a little more light in this part of my room. These were easy to assemble and work well. It covers the area and are height adjustable. I have some areas of concern. The base needs to be slightly wider and heavier in ensure more stability. It's OK now, but I am cautious when around the lamps. There is no information posted about replacement bulbs. The timer and on/switches are too close to the plug, making it awkward to hide the controls and use them. I would recommend a longer wire with an optional clip on attachment to the pole. So far, I am happy with the purchase

There were 10 ballasts in the package. They were not individually wrapped. We had to separate all the wires. Each of these ballasts have 8 wires on them. It was a mess to separate and to wrap them up individually. They are the correct model we need. They are $3+ cheaper than where we can purchase them. We were not expecting to separate the 10 ballasts. It would have been nice to know on the website they are not individually wrapped. We have not installed one yet, but believe they will work.

Bought it on October and is now February. Plants are still alive and the best part is that it has a timer so every so hours will turn on automatically

I decided to go with this grow bulb because it was the only one I could find that listed it's ppf value in the specs. I had also been previously using the GE BR30 LED grow light (16 micro miles/second) for about 7 months prior to receiving this one and I felt like my plants were doing really well, but I wanted to see if they could do better, grow faster, and produce larger leaves. I don't yet know if 50 micromoles is ideal for my indoor plants and environment (I have them on a shelf next to my western facing window in southern California where it's always sunny), but I will give an update when I see the results. The bulb is heavy, weighing in at 1.2 lbs on my scale. However, fortunately, my lamp can handle the weight. I'm using the Ranarp Ikea work lamp. I have it positioned to give as many plants a boost as possible while prioritizing my FLF, but I could position it to prioritize the top shelf no problem. I've taken a few photos with the footcandle readings at different positions of my setup so you can get a visual of the amount of light you'll get at different distances. My FLF is 26" away and gets ~758 fc. Bottom shelf 44" away gets ~558 fc, second shelf 32" away with the light directed at it ~997 fc, third shelf 24" away gets ~222 and top shelf 22" away gets basically nothing from the light. Hopefully that makes sense... The bulb gets pretty hot but I can keep my hand on it for about 15 seconds, not comfortably though. It's bright, but not harsh and a little on the warm side, much like the BR30 but a bit brighter. Gives my plants the beautiful spotlight they deserve. 👌

These are extremely sturdy. grips really well and i highly recommend this.
