  • My mother has the best orange tree. The oranges grow large and sweet. Finally after years of talking about it, I decided to take a seed from one of the oranges and grow my own orange tree. I am hoping that once it produces oranges, they will be like mom's tree. So I got this small plastic planter that my kids had from a long time ago, and used it with some soil. I noticed that when it started to grow, the plant would bend towards the window for the light. I wanted to make sure the plant grew straight up. So I looked at different growing lights, and found this clip-on light. The pictures I put up for this review are from February 2025. So you have an idea of the size of light and the planter its clipped to, I put my hand in one of the pics so you have a point of reference. I have been using this light for a few months now. It works great. It clips on the side of the planter, and my little orange tree is growing like a weed. This light is the plants primary light source. The adjustable neck is very strong. I very much like the timer. I will turn it on, set it for 12 hours, and 12 hours later, its off. It also has a 6 hour and 3 hour option. Honestly, this light has worked very well. I have not had any issues with this light. If I decide to plant any more seeds in planters, I will definately pick up another one of these.

  • Few problems with a couple diodes and once again was impressed with the way customer service handled the situation amazing customer service and love the product definitely worth the purchase

  • There are two things that really impressed me about this grow lamp: 1. Wires are neatly hidden in the light post - This gives a very clean look to the light. However, nothing is perfect. You have to mind the wires as you adjust the lamp up or down. Not a problem, you just have to be aware of it. And it puts the controller down on the floor. Again, not really a problem - I have mine set to 4 hours/day, so I don't have to touch the controller, it's on automatic. I should add that there are 2 connectors inside the light post - they are quite tight, so that's good, but do be a little careful when adjusting the height - if it does not move easily, check the wiring to see if that's the issue. 2. Highly adjustable - this is a great feature! We all have different size plants that we are providing light to and our plants will change in height over time. This light has two different ways to adjust: 1. Use 1, 2, or all 3 of the post sections. Check out the picture from the listing that I attached. You'll see that in the lowest position, 31.2" high, only the section with the LED head is attached directly to the base. If you add another section, you will add 16" of height, and with the third section, another 16". 2. Use the adjustment that is part of the section with the LED head. That provides about 13" of adjustment. Really nice light - you can cover anywhere from the 31.2" to 63" all with this one lamp. 5 Stars for this nicely designed and well made light. ================================================================== Couple of extra things - * In looking at the other reviews, one person mentioned that there was a "lens" loose in the box. That does indeed snap into the LED head to protect the LED's. On mine, it was not snapped in all the way, I just gave it a little push and it locked in. * I was impressed with the base, it's heavy enough so that the light doesn't not feel "tippy". And it has 4 cushioned feet that will protect your floor and provide the space needed for the wire to run out under.

  • I was skeptical about this light, but considering it was sold by AC Infinity and I know that they have top quality products, I decided to give this light a try. Let me tell you, don’t even think about it. Buy it. I will be posting a picture along with this review to show that this light on the highest setting lights up my whole 20 x 12 flower room. Incredible.

  • The order was replaced for missing the gooseneck piece just for the replacement to not have the gooseneck piece as well. Will have to buy another grow light.

  • I. The Mars-Hydro TSW2000 arrived well-packaged absent any damage. I have heard growers report their lights arrived dented or bent, and I believe them. For this particular line of LED lights the manufacturers decided to use a thin metal for the reflector as I'm sure this allowed them to cut costs without sacrificing the light's efficacy. My light, however, arrived with its vulnerable edges protected by rigid Styrophoam. My light came with a timer, which would have been extremely welcome had I not already owned one from prior grows, as well as a pair of ratchet hangers. It's always nice to have a fresh pair of hangers since they seem to be universally made from crappy alloy, which rust after one or two grows. The assembly instructions were unclear. At first, I was a little dismayed to see the instructions did not have a step-by-step breakdown. It was basically three illustrated panels with almost no annotations. Fortunately, this is not rebuilding a jet engine. If you just sit back and study the parts for a few minutes you'll realize there aren't too many ways it can go together wrong, but you'll want to pay attention to how you orient the drivers for optimal cable management. Once the new light was installed and turned on to full power, it filled my 3x3 tent with a nearly blinding level of light. This is obviously a meaningless way to judge the efficacy of a light, but nonetheless I was glad it worked and wasn't DOA. My Equipment: 1. 3x3 grow tent 2. Mars Hydro TSW2000 3. 4" 190CFM Exhaust Fan w/ charcoal filter 3. 4L Humidifier 4. (2) 6" clip fans 5. Four 3-gallon nursery pots (sturdy pro-cal type, might even be pro-cal brand) I drill extra holes in the bottom FYI. 6. Digital light timer II. Some additional info for grow enthusiasts: 1. I direct sowed into 3-gallon pots* and used no seed starter or rooting solutions. 2. Seeds planted are a 3-pack of Blue Dream Autos and my last Gorilla Glue Auto seed. I only water the immediate area over and around the seed, wait for it to almost dry up, and then gently water again. All four girls popped by the end of the 4th day. I am 20/20 sprouting seeds in this fashion. Finally, and very importantly, during the seedling stage I set the light at 75% and kept the light 30" above the pots. Any lower or any stronger and they would have suffered heat stress. *Pro-Cal pots with four extra holes drilled through the bottoms for additional drainage. Soil Used: 75% Roots Organic Original, 25% Coco. I find that Roots Organic Original already has enough perlite. I'll add to this review once the plants are leafed out some. III. I am currently mid-way through veg and all four plants are doing very well. I can now confirm that this light is quite strong, and is more than what vegging plants need in a 3x3 tent. At 24" and 100% power the tent climbed into the mid-80's (it's very hot where I live right now, even in the basement, so my extraction fan was a little overwhelmed I think). To remedy this I lowered the power back to 75% and the plants seem to prefer it. I had edge curling on the leaves of one of my plants before backing off the brightness, but that has ceased. At this hanging distance and power level there is zero stretching and their growth has continued unabated. I'll update this review during flower, and again, one last time, to report yield. IV. Plants are now in mid flower and have stopped the pre-flower/early flower stretch. I still consider myself only a late-beginner/intermediate grower, having only grown 20 plants so far, including these, but so far these plants have the best internodal spacing of the plants I've grown. Up until now I've used only two different burple brands--and they've worked--but they tend to invite stretching because their wattage and spectrums were not ideal. If anything, these lights are inhibitory for stretching because they include plenty of blue light and at least in my case, for my current phenos, the light is strong enough so the plants don't want to get closer than they have to. This has made for some pretty compact budding sites. I'm excited to see what the colas will look like in another few weeks. The TSW2000 is obviously strong, and provides a nice, bright sun-like spectrum. I believe it will prove out to be an ideal 3x3 tent light, as it is clear now it would have completely flowered all 9 square feet of my tent if I had added a 5th 3-gallon pot, which I plan on doing next time for sure. How big will the buds be? How much will its dry weight end up being? Only time will tell! I'll add a final section to this review once it's all chopped, dried and weighed. V. My four plants have been chopped, dried and cured. The yield of each plant was fairly uniform around 2-2.5oz. Total yield was 9.6oz of buds. Popcorn buds would push it to 11 most likely. The Blue Dream'atic potency was subjectively believed, by two different heavy cannabis users, as slightly stronger than the Gorilla Glue Auto, but both were considered quite potent. I barely smoke so of course both were quite strong to me. I generally only do edibles. Conclusion: This light is more than adequate for the home cannabis grower, and an excellent upgrade for anyone currently using old-school burples or other lesser grow lights.

  • This grow light is simple to set up with a stable tripod base and five adjustable LED heads with red, blue, and white light. Its height adjusts up to about 5.6 feet, and the flexible light heads can be angled freely while staying steady. The automatic timer adds convenience, making it a reliable and versatile choice for indoor plant care!

  • I get so much stuff from ecogrowhawaii.com that I don't bother to write a review unless something is either really good or really bad. These lights are really good! I have a LOT of tropical houseplants that had to become patio plants when I moved into my husband's smaller, darker house, but they still have to spend the winter inside from Nov thru Apr. Since this house has insufficient natural light for houseplants, I have to supplement with artificial light. In spite of strategic placement of floor lamps with full-spectrum bulbs in certain areas, I needed more light. These telescoping grow lights do the trick! I was able to target the plants that needed additional light by just sticking these lights in the pots where they were needed. I think I'm going to buy two more so a couple plants that get one-direction winter light won't have to stretch towards a window. Just a note: I put mine on the brightest setting (there are 4 levels) and used the full-spectrum light. These would also work well on the lower and warmer settings aimed at a wall for mood lighting. Because of the simple nature of the control, the timer settings (off, 6, 12, and 16 hrs) start when you turn the light on. I want mine to come on an hour before sunset on the shortest day of the year, so I'll have to be sure to turn it on then. After that, the timer should do everything for me unless there is a power outage.

  • We have a little nursery on our landing and this is going to be perfect for starting seedlings for our garden and for keeping our more tropical plants happy through Michigan winters. I didn't find the instructions until I'd figured it out on my own. (The instructions are a single sheet of paper folded in the cover.) One side of the top is taller than the other making a sort of peak at the front side. The cover fits snuggly over the top and has ties to keep it in place at each corner. There are 2 zippers for each side and ties to hold the doors up. It didn't come with zip ties so we're getting some to keep the wire trays in place as the currently just kind of sit on top of the frame and slide around easily.

  • Happy Easter! God bless us and our plants! Note: I germinated my seeds for a week in the black seed starting trays, in front of a "warm window" approx 55 degrees to 75 degrees (12 degrees Celsius to 23 degrees Celsius) during that time. Full sun exposure indoors. I watered with collected rainwater. They fully germinated before I got the Metrygrow light which at the 7th day I unboxed and set up. Now you can see from the germinated tray what I started with and then as it all grew under the light while still in the trays and through the transplanting cycle into just slightly larger containers. The new containers are comprised of the Ocean Forest potting soil, which is the same that was used to germinate the seeds in the trays on March 6th 2025. 30days later I transplanted and for the last two weeks I've been doing final transplanting for my lettuce and Basil which are under a larger grow light together in a pot and a bin with drainage holes. (not shown here as its under a different product light) But the tomatoes are still under the Metrygrow light as of 04/20/2025, in the last 2 picture you can see them and a mystery plant that came from the same seed packet at the lettuce. As-well as some small cilantro starts and a sage start. All will be transplanted to their final soil bin this week. I can verify that all my plants were grown under the Metrygrow light and probably could still be if I only have a single large plant to grow. It does a great job at providing light and reasonable heat for photosynthesis. It's quiet, the timer using the Nthgrow app is consistent. And so long as my phone doesn't have a software update, the wifi connection is strong and it works. Its easy to move and adjust after setting up and has some good versatility in function and display purposes. I could hang it from a rack rather than have the adjustable arm hold it up for instance. Its easy to dust off, no sharp parts catch or drag micro fiber cloth. It's balanced and holds up against my staffy's strong wagging tail. I think it's built really well and will be lasting for the price. While it only provides 2x2 ft (60.96 centimeters to 60.96 centimeters) It's enough for very small scale starting plants and sprouts. As well as a medium size plant that needs full spectrum lighting. The light along with the soil I picked and the rain water I collected for my plants to drink from exclusively. Has yielded fragrant and tasty basil, lush and full lettuce bundles, and strong rooting tomato starts! Just to add, for my bins that I'm transferring too, they have drilled drainage holes and I pack with small nuggets of pine bark at the bottom to help with the drainage and fill the container before adding a lot of regular generic potting soil along with FoxFarm soil. Final large Bins were $10 each, large bag of pine bark was $3, large bag of potting mix $10 (56.6 liters). For FoxFarm Ocean Forest I got the 13.2 liters twice and the 42.4 liters once. Price varies on distributors. I also got tomato/pepper fertilizer (dry) for $10 at my local nursery that I'll add along with some Activated Charcoal which I add to everything. Giving the very best that I can for the plants to thrive has had a great impact but without Metrygrow light it wouldn't have had a truly great start to grow. Thank you for your light! if you come up with larger varieties I will definitely purchase in the future!

  • Easy to assemble, looks good and works great! There is no brightness adjuster if you were wondering but there’s 3 timer settings. I recommend this product.

  • Easy set up and definitely worth the price! I have older lights from my first grows and this light is better in a lot of ways with the easy attach and detachable driver. Very bright even on its lowest setting.

  • This light is almost the perfect size for my 1-gallon vase aquarium. The vase is slightly larger than 6.1 inches in diameter, which is slightly larger than the frame of the 6.1-inch light. However, it sits on top easily without me worrying about it falling in. Adding a small rubber strip along the perimeter of the light would make it fit perfectly. Nevertheless, this was exactly what I was looking for. It was able to light my vase sufficiently for the plants inside to grow well. There are three different lighting intensities as well as three different colors of white. I prefer the highest intensity and the full 6k spectrum for my plants. I like the timer feature, so that I can just select the 3/9/12 hour photoperiod (I will use the 9-hour photoperiod). Most of all, I like that this light is USB powered, allowing me to place my vase anywhere I wanted. Though this light is competitively priced, I still found it a bit expensive. Nevertheless, the round housing with humidity vents is exactly what I was looking for, and I am happy with the product.

  • I found the lights easy to assemble and setup. The product arrived intact with no damage. It came as advertised with multiple options for installation. However, I needed to mount all of the lights using the brackets and zip ties. Unfortunately, they did not provide enough brackets for all of the lights included. You need 2 brackets per light. Therefore, I will have to McGuiver the last light. If this is your intended method for installation, please be aware! I would have liked to knock off 1/4 star if I could, for a 3.75 rating. Knowing this, would I buy it again? I probably would.

  • Fellas, this is the review you’re looking for. I was a bit skeptical at first because when I turned this light on it emits a white light (full spectrum light) and every other icebox i had seen used a light that was a deep purple color. Well it doesn’t matter because clearly these carmine 6s got blasted with enough UV rays over the span of 3 24hr sessions to remove most the yellowing. Don’t mind the adhesive i’ve yet to clean off the jumpman in the after photo. Even the solid white portions of the outsoles that i didn’t apply sole sauce to were brought back to white. I’ve also left jordan 5 lace locks in the box for a few sessions without sauce and this light managed to remove most of the yellowing out of those as well. My box is quite small, so i keep the light running at the 70% setting so that the shoes don’t overheat, and it still gets the job done. W light for a crazy good price. If you’re curious i used angelus sole bright and i lined the inside of my box with highly reflective mylar film.
