Since I live in a cold area, I have a short growing season. If I want to start my garden from seeds, I need to start inside and use grow lights. I’ve used many different types over the years, and this one is one of my favorites. It covers a large area. It comes with the necessary hooks and cables to hang it. It doesn’t get very hot on the top, either. Several lights I’ve had over the years get burning hot on the top. That and the fact that it’s water resistant makes me feel much safer. Very happy with this light.

  • T10 Vertical Grow Light, 6000K Full Spectrum Brand: WeeLeeGoo The grow light that will nurse back to bigger and heathier plants...my basil and Christmas Poinsettia. A tabletop light with a combination of red, blue and white light beads that simulates the natural sunlight and encourages healthy plant life. Until we receive our additional plant table, the two plants will share the light for healthier times. My plants were in my kitchen bay window, and the poinsettia took over the area, stealing sunlight from the smaller plants. When I found this light available, I was hopeful that all my plants would become healthy and sprout new life. I have shared the three available modes in my photographs. There are many ways to set this light…one with only the top half of lights, another setting for the bottom half or a choice for the full panel of lights. With ten levels of adjustable brightness, you can adapt the desired light exposure according to your plant's needs. The auto/off feature allows you to have the freedom to avoid manually setting the lights. The auto timer allows you to set it for 4, 8, 12, or 18 hours. I recommend you read the enclosed pamphlet for instructions and research the time needed with a grow light and your particular plant. Thank you to the seller, manufacturer, and ecogrowhawaii.com for this opportunity to use and review this grow light! I wish to thank you, the shopper as well, for reading and supporting my review. • With a quick utube video & no experience installed this myself in 30 min. Wires on ballest already prepped to connect (wires stripped ) Would be nice if it came with wire nuts to easy connect to old wires but I had some on hand . Got this next day from ordering !!! Thank you !

  • This is suitable for providing full-spectrum light to indoor plants in containers on a table or shelf. Its size limits the number of plants that can receive the benefit of the light, as it measures approximately 8" X 5", which is not enough to cover several larger plants or those in large containers. It is extensible for this use, as two additional lights may be interconnected to form a network if you purchase another unit or two. The housing is plastic, making it lightweight, and it's mounted on a gooseneck stalk with a spring-loaded clamp allowing connection and positioning as desired. The clamp has sufficient holding capability to give you confidence that it will stay where you put it, but the goose neck is not quite as stiff as required, as some droop is discernable when trying to hold the head horizontal. There are 3 available on-off time intervals that can be selected, and simply powering up the light appears to leave it on indefinitely. There's no cooling fan - the manufacturer claims that the head remains cool in operation. This is, literally, a matter of degree. Heat can be felt at close range from both the light side and the top side of the head. It's not going to burn fingers, but it may be enough to affect the health of a tender seedling which is placed in very close proximity to the light, which is necessary to prevent their becoming leggy. The light output is rated at a flat 2000 lumens, although the usable light will vary based upon the distance from the LEDs to the plant's leaves. Overall, I think this will suit my purposes, but I am withholding a star from my rating because there is no 'protection', such as a glass or transparent plastic shield, providing damage resistance to the LEDs. (see my uploaded image) A simple butterfingers episode could cause impact damage to some of the individual LEDS, which could have a wider effect, depending upon their wiring. If you're not quite as picky as I am, you'll probably find this to be an excellent product. I like it, but I don't LOVE it...

  • This plant light does a great job for my plants that can’t get enough natural light. There isn’t a timer on this one. It’s a switch. I hook it up to my own timer and the lights last a very long time. This is much brighter than I thought it would be. It will work for a large plant or a few smaller plants. This light can be adjusted for height and is very stable. It’s great value for the money.

  • Over the past few years, I have developed a strong passion for gardening and decided to experiment with growing vegetables and flowers from seeds. After conducting thorough research, I came across several high-priced grow lights, which seemed unnecessary for a beginner like myself. That’s when I discovered these lights. Not only are they affordably priced, but the results have exceeded my expectations. While I can’t speak to their effectiveness for fruiting plants, they have been absolutely perfect for starting seedlings before transplanting them outdoors. The lights generate minimal heat, and the quality of light and overall functionality are impressive for this purpose. I did experience a bulb burnout a month ago, but I was extremely satisfied with Sunco’s customer service. They promptly sent a replacement light with no hassle. So far, I have successfully started a variety of plants, including kale, lettuce, tomatoes, peppers, marigolds, nasturtiums, and petunias, all of which are thriving. I highly recommend these lights for anyone looking to begin their indoor gardening journey.

  • UPDATE: 1 month of use & my Bougainvillea is now blooming as if it were a poinsettia with the light & bit of Knox gelatin! I highly recommend this light, will update again IF that changes. I'll update after my Bougainvillea has been under it a few weeks, but for now, I'm pleased with this light! While bright white, from across the room, the light has a pink/purple tint. As I haven't felt 'heat', I prefer not to rate that, and will update if needed! So far, so good, as my bougainvillea is doing OK under it; however, I changed its dirt right before I brought it in, and it's still adjusting to lower light than the SW exposure it enjoys in the summer, so it'll take a few weeks to see how or if it benefits! IF you're on the fence, if I needed another, I'd buy another one of these, and had NO problem screwing it into the 'arm' used for reading on my floor lamp. I thought it may've been used/returned given the poor tape job, (see pics), it wasn't, nor is there any cosmetic damages as others have reported.

  • I think the only thing I didn't like was that the instructions weren't very detailed but I used all 8 with a greenhouse I plan on keeping in my home for seed starting. Set up was really easy and I was able to link all of the lights together. It came with the hardware to either hang them or have them mounted on a wall/ceiling. It also came with enough cords to be able to link them or have them in sets of two. Very impressed with the quality and how fast these came in the mail. The power cords also have an on/off switch

  • The light was easy to set up. The base has a smooth Finnish to the stand. It won't scratch my furniture. I'm using it on one plant right now but as soon as the weather changes it will be joined by a number of outside plants.

  • Great LED’s, fantastic efficiency. Rugged as hell and has effortlessly trucked through humidity, gnats, dust, debris, storage, and shipping multiple times. Still runs like a champ over 3 years later. Super nice for keeping plants and cactus going over the winter; it’s so good at passively dissipating heat that it noticeably warms up whatever room you’re in. Even my dog doesn’t know the difference between these lights and sunlight. Recently bought another one to use for starters. Worth every penny.

  • This product did not provide enough power for my HID. It is a perfect fit, but the headlight is not usable.

  • These are nice lights - I have two other sets that are similar that have worked great, which is why I got these. Let's step through the details: * Good Light Output - These lights produce plenty of light for starting seedlings and maintaining growing plants. When starting seedlings, be sure to keep them close to the lights. I've seen information on having them no closer than 12" - that's not correct, you will end up with leggy seedlings that will tip over. 2" - 3" is the sweet spot. * Timer - I love the timer. You can provide the desired amount of light each day - 6 hours, 12 hours, or 18 hours. Plants need a certain amount of light each day to thrive and they need a period of darkness when they can rest. You can dial that in with the timer. No more forgetting to turn on the lights or forgetting to turn them off. * Many Ways to Mount - You get screws, double-sided tape, and zip ties. * USB Power Source - Is included! It just bugs me when they sell lights like this and you have to find a way to power them. That just doesn't make sense to me. This way you have everything that you need to get rolling. And, I'm an electrical engineer, so I like to be sure that power and usage are all OK and this one is. The power source is rated at 15W and I measured and the lights draw 13W when on full. There's a 2 W "cushion" and that is plenty - the power source is not being pushed and it's all safe. * Adjustable Wire Length for Each Light - The lights come with about 10" of wire coming from the main cord. If you need more for your application, you can just pull and make the wire(s) to each light longer. The main cord is designed to allow that adjustment if needed. So, great lights for gardeners starting plants and people tending house plants. This is a 5 Star light setup - quality product, all mounting options covered, and a supplied power source. One quick thing if you are interested - in one of the attached pictures I show a previous set of these lights which I have mounted to a heavy sheet of cardboard (this set of 3 is shown right below it). I used the included screws to mount them. I simply place each end up on a 1 qt paint can and my seedlings fit right under nicely. As they grow, I can place a book under each paint can to raise them up. If you should decide to try a setup like this - you should place the individual light strips 2" apart. I figured that out with a light meter when I made mine and the mfg of these lights has that 2" spacing in the listing.

  • This thing is BRIGHT. Don’t be fooled by how lightweight and thin it is when you take it out of the box. It does come with several extra parts to accommodate various installation methods. I do wish the manual explained that better but I figured it out after a bit. The manual is helpful in that it gives you the basics of what to do. I needed to install mine above some wall mounted shelves. I first tried the hanging option, but it didn’t look too good. Then I tried the sticky command strip type stickers that came in the package, but they didn’t stick to my ceiling at all. I tried actual command strips, and those lasted about a day before falling. In the end, I used a few screws to just attach it to the wall and that did the trick. It’s holding up well, doesn’t get too warm, and lights up my entire room in a warm pink light. Definitely not aesthetically pleasing, but my plants are happy and I leave this on when I’m at school/work so I don’t notice it. Great value! Super happy with this purchase.

  • Came with light only not cables to connect to outlet or anything. Box had looked tampered with. Light it self feels cheap. Buy another uv product!

  • I have to return this as the whole reason I bought it was to put it on my front porch, which is obviously outside. It markets itself as being for both indoor and outdoor use but when looking at the quick instruction sheet it says: Use indoors only, not for outside use. It's number 9. on the picture I have provided. I don't know anything about how well it works because I'm not even continuing to take it out of the box. Extremely frustrating.
