It Be Like That Sometimes… Verified Buyer –
It’s really hard to review a light fixture when you have no way of powering it on. For some reason, and I’m still at a loss for trying to figure it out, the manufacturer thought it would be okay to sell the power cord separately. However, I have yet to find a such a cord, rendering this LED light fixture useless. Awesome. So, if the seller, manufacturer or anyone else in the world could point me in the right direction so that I can purchase said cord not only would I appreciate it, but it would also allow me to properly review this item. Until then, this will have to do.

Okay this is a first impression review. Most important to know, it needs to be listed that a power cord that plugs into an outlet must be purchased separately. So if you are looking at this light make sure you have to correct power cable to match your power supply needs. I fortunately had available from my other lights a cable that will power this light. The spectrum is a far red and give nice boost to lighting under the canopy. (Test the effects now.) I would have gave it 5 stars for quality but as from above, not suppling or listing that you need a power supply cord, that’s a must. The light is built nice and is light weight. The heat sync is the entire length of the light so it runs fairly cool. The LED’s have a cover that keeps them protected from moisture and falling plant debris. Feels very solid and it is a nice light just needs power.

This is a fantastic LED grow light. Ever since I installed it under my plants, they have become fuller and much less leggy in nature with more blooms. I did remove one star because I had to buy a power cord separately, but I am super pleased with my results.

Given that this light is priced at over $200, I was quite shocked to see that it didn’t come with a power cord, especially given it is of a proprietary design. The ION LED Power Cord for The 135W LED Under Canopy (120v/240v) cost about $10 and arrived quickly.
The light itself is clearly very well constructed. It has a metal casing which makes it pretty heavy. There’s lots of mounting points as well as points for attaching cable to suspend the light with. This is probably the most advanced seeming grow light I’ve ever used, which may be as beyond my level of expertise… at a glance I can’t really tell how it’s different from my cheaper grow lights other than that it is a bit brighter and in a fancy casing. I also don’t know what the ethernet cable looking part of the power supply cord is for. At the end of the day it’s working well and isn’t overheating my grow tent, so it’s doing its job.

Solid light performance for the grower looking to tweak inputs to maximize the health of lowers and overall yield. Not most efficient of lights, but well made and plenty of power to fill out those precious plants.
