These lights are awesome, love the fact that you can plug them all into one socket. You could even use the short plug and make four foot long lights. It came with four power chords with on off switch. I hooked up to timer so don’t really need it, but nice option to have. My plants are thriving beneath these lights. I love that they can be chained together – smart design! I also like that they can be used with or without the shades, so the light can be focused directly under the fixture or the band of light can be wider. If you use them like you are suppose to not plugging them all into each other with one plug you will be happy. They don’t get hot I have them above my hydroponic system. I did make the mistake of turning them on for 12 hours each day and my lettuce grew to fast my strawberry plants loved it tho. In my opinion they are great easy to install with no problems.

I think the only thing I didn’t like was that the instructions weren’t very detailed but I used all 8 with a greenhouse I plan on keeping in my home for seed starting. Set up was really easy and I was able to link all of the lights together. It came with the hardware to either hang them or have them mounted on a wall/ceiling. It also came with enough cords to be able to link them or have them in sets of two. Very impressed with the quality and how fast these came in the mail. The power cords also have an on/off switch

I didn’t even realize when I bought these that they are able to be strung together in a series. They’re working great for starting my plants indoors. The only negative I can say is the pink light, while it looks cool, makes it hard to see the color of your plants. It can make them look pale. So I have to pull them out and look at them in normal light from time to time to make sure they look ok. Otherwise the pink is kinda neat. Highly recommend these.
