I ordered these DOMMIA Grow lights because I liked that they can be positioned on a pot edge instead of using a clip or a stand. While they do stay on the edge of the pot, they aren’t very stable and tend to either slide side to side or flop forward or back (or all of these things).
The lights themselves are mediocre in brightness, falling somewhere in between great and terrible. I would use these on shade and low light plants, and not expect to be growing flowers or vegetables with them. The lights are a bit top heavy, and this is part of why they don’t stay in place as I’d hoped. I shoved a piece of styrofoam along the edge of my pot to help secure the light in place and that has helped.
In all, I wouldn’t purchase this style of grow light in the future.

I needed some grow lights for some seedlings I’m hoping to grow. I got theses hoping they would do the trick. I was surprised how large and heavy they are. The light on them is great and there’s not only a timer, but the lights can be dimmed or strengthened. They are definitely great and meant more for larger potted plants than what I’m using them for.
On that note, the picks don’t adjust but you can definitely make it work (as I managed to). My biggest complaint is that the lights are attached which means you can’t adjust one and not the other. The settings are for both.
Other than that, I’m pretty sure these will still work great for what I need.

I needed extra light for my plants now that I brought them indoors, and this was perfect. I love the auto on/off so I don’t have to remember to turn it on and off. You are able to focus on just the plants that need extra light. Extremely easy to use and highly suggest it for any gardener who brings their plants inside for the winter.

This DOMMIA Grow Lights for Indoor Plants 14-in, 2 Stands 1 Plug is nice. It easily inserts into any pot and provides excellent grow lights. This is very much needed as its now time to bring indoors the outdoor plants for the winter, and I need more light for some of them. This light pack is all connected so the lights have to be used close together as the cord between them isn’t very long. Love that it has a timer as I have a ton of plant lights and turning them all on daily would be impossible. This way I can set it and forget it. I’m using these for my potted herbs. I’d love to keep cultivating these all winter long and I hope these lights will help give the basil the bright light they need.

My 45-year-old Golden Pothos plant was showing a change of appearance that did not look good. I figured that the decreased outdoor light may be the cause of this, so I investigated grow lights on ecogrowhawaii.com. After viewing a few, I selected this one from Dommia, as it was sized appropriately, plus the LED lights and USB power input was perfect for my use.
My plant has responded in a positive way, and I am very happy with this light system. I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

The lights are both wired to one control switch which means that the wires of the lights can only stretch to about 3-4 ft from each other and can only be set on the same timer.
You can set times for 6,12, or 16 hours.
The lights come with stakes to place in a pot and reach about a foot above the dirt so they wouldnt work great for tall plants.
Lastly they are quite broad lights and cover a lot of area if you have multiple plants near each other.

These lights are really great because they can actually stick into the soil of the plant and provide direct 1:1 light source for that plant. Which some need to feel spoiled – we know how finicky plants can be. The remote on the wire controls the dimmer which is really nice if the plant doesn’t require the brightness of the sun on it at all times!
