   This light fixture has a metal casing that feels well constructed, it’s about 2 feet long, and supports two 24 W bulbs. It does put out some heat, but not too much, I’ve been using it on my Lupine seedlings, and they’ve been doing great, very green and not laggy at all. Because the unit is pretty light weight, it was easy to set up as a hanging grow light on my 4 foot wire rack. I used some plant hanging chains to do this, and only took me about 5 minutes from unboxing to set up. I also tried daisychaining some lights from other brands to this unit, and everything worked as it should. It is pricier than LED grow lights, but I do think that it provides reliable lighting that is even and spreads over a wide area.

   This was the perfect size for my little grow tent. I had to get creative with the mounting but that kind of goes with the territory. I’ve been running it on a timer for the last few months and it has worked well. Some cosmetic issues and I’m not sure why there are cooling louvers that are not even open enough for air flow, but nothing important, the light has worked great. My seedlings have done very well.
   One note of warning, I am pretty sure when I received this, the power cord was packed into the bulb/reflector side to save space and fit it in the box, with some foam padding. I initially packed it back up because I wasn’t ready to use it yet. When I unpacked it, I found the reflector was dented in the center, where the power cord was. I don’t believe it arrived this way, I’m pretty sure I was responsible for this when I re-packed it. It hasn’t affected the performance but really bugs me when I see it. My advice is to check for this when you receive the light, and don’t try to repack it!

   The construction on this seems pretty solid all around. It is made of metal and doesn’t easily bend. It is about 2 feet long and holds 2 – 24W 6500K (whatever that means, I’m not sure but it sounds good) 5,000 Lumen output light bulbs. I have it set up in my garage and my old table has been converted to a seedling table. I haven’t grown a lot with this yet, but I have Chives under it now and have done two rounds of cat grass so far.

   It wasn’t difficult to install. It comes with two wire loops that you can either use the enclosed chain with it, or your own chain or rope. The chain is sturdy enough for the weight of the light fixture. It is fairly light, which was surprising to me. So far it is holding up pretty well outside in the garage. So far so good, but time will tell on the overall durability of it.

   Seems to be great so far. Very pleased. I removed one star purely for the packaging— ecogrowhawaii.com sent it inside a box with literally ZERO packaging material. I could feel the light bumping around inside the box while I was bringing it home and I thought oh no, it’s going to be all broken. But it turned out it was completely fine. I feel I got very lucky, which is nice, but seems like kind of a Hail Mary as far as the shipping method goes.
