   This lamp is just what I needed. I needed a decent amount of light output to overwinter one of my outdoor plants. Here in WI we need to bring things indoors so that they don’t freeze, and we need to add light. The winter days are short and often gray. This lamp has plenty of light output and the 40″ to 52″ adjustability was ideal.

   I’m running it at the lowest height and it’s just right for my application. Adjusted all the way down and with the arc in the attachment to the LED head, puts it at 40″ from the floor. You will see in the picture that it’s putting out plenty of light for the plant and it brightens the room as well which is a nice side benefit. In my other pic I show the simple 4 button controller. Very easy to use to select On-Off, 4-8-12 auto on-off, and 5 levels of brightness.

   It comes with a power supply, just plug it and away you go. The power supply has a nice blue LED that is on when it’s plugged in. I value the indicator light because it shows me that the circuit that’s it’s plugged into is working. An easy 5 Stars for this reviewer.

   This lamp has a nice, heavy base that easily supports the weight of the lamp and will conveniently fit under a table or even a low chair. The height is adjustable, it is easy to put together; warnings: once you’ve completed ‘step 2’, putting the middle pole to the bottom pole, it will most like NOT come apart (I tried, I wanted to take it downstairs, had to take it assembled). It lights up nicely, with three settings, and the timer works well, too. I do wish one could set it for more than 12 hours, but oh well, it is what it is. If you’ve looked at my pictures, you’ll see that the instruction ‘pamphlet’ is very small, but it has all necessary information. Now, price. At first, I felt this was a bit spendy as one can get grow lights that cover much more area, with similar output, for at least $10-$15 less; then I considered: and pay more for a timer, and more for heighr adjustors… four and a half stars, round up to five.

   One of my hydroponic growing systems is a tower-style setup and did not come with its own grow light so I bought this lamp to use with it. It is pretty much a perfect size for my purposes and I am very pleased with the quality and ease-of-use of this lamp. I tested the timer by setting it to 4 hours and it turned off and back on again 20 hours later, just as it should. I like this lamp and feel that it is a good deal although, to be honest, I did not shop around at all.

   These are fantastic! Bought one and then turned around and bought 2 more. You’re able to set them on a timer. They come on without fail and turn off at the precribed number of hours. Super helpful if you’re trying to grow houseplants in the darker areas of your home. Also great when you’re on vacation. Super easy to assemble.

   This is actually a really impressive grow light. It illuminates well and concisely, and it was easy to set up. It doesn’t seem to be retractable, perhaps my error but it is meant to be a floor lamp, but the light itself is really malleable. You can shift it to any direction you need. If you have something taller than this, however, you’d need to place this on something higher as well.

   Overall, I believe it accomplishes it’s task and accomplishes it well! It has a timer where you can set how long the grow light can operate, as well as a brightness setting.

   I ordered this for a couple of my indoor plants that were looking a bit sad with all the grey fall / winter weather and shorter days. It’ll be awhile before I know if it’s helping them, but it should. The light is bright and also adjustable. The lamp was easy to set up and is much sturdier than my previous tripod version that was always tipping over if I moved the slightest thing. The brightness ranges from quite low to very bright and there’s also a timer, which is helpful. The price seems fair. Would recommend.
