   I really do love this light, but I want to note that it took a ridiculous amount of time to put together. You have to thread the wire through narrow metal tubes and then attach it. The problem is that the wire kept getting stuck in the tube and even when i got the wire through to attach it, it doesn’t attach all the way so it constantly comes apart, and then I had to unscrew the tubes and feed it through again. This happened MANY times and it was very annoying as the tubes are long and metal, and the entire thing has some weight to it. That was the reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 4.

   However, once I finally got it all together and it stayed together, I really love the light. It is made very well and is a good quality metal. I love that it’s adjustable although the lowest setting is already pretty high. The timer works very well. Even with the frustration, I’m happy with it and would definitely recommend it.

   This MISTYJUNGLE plant light is working out very well for me. It’s been a cold spring and as we enter the end of March we are still having days below freezing. I need to get starts going on some of my garden plants that need a long growing season. This plant lamp is my answer. It is super easy to put together. It comes with good directions. I like the adjustable height. My photos show the lamp with two of the three sections being used in the pole. I like the adjustable gooseneck on the lamp so I am able to aim the light in any direction I desire. The timer is great. Set it and forget it. I set it at 7:00pm for 12 hours. Now every day it goes on at 7:00pm for 12 hours. I don’t need to do anything. My plants like the light, too. They are thriving ever since I added the light.

   There are two things that really impressed me about this grow lamp: 1. Wires are neatly hidden in the light post – This gives a very clean look to the light. However, nothing is perfect. You have to mind the wires as you adjust the lamp up or down. Not a problem, you just have to be aware of it. And it puts the controller down on the floor. Again, not really a problem – I have mine set to 4 hours/day, so I don’t have to touch the controller, it’s on automatic. I should add that there are 2 connectors inside the light post – they are quite tight, so that’s good, but do be a little careful when adjusting the height – if it does not move easily, check the wiring to see if that’s the issue. 2. Highly adjustable – this is a great feature! We all have different size plants that we are providing light to and our plants will change in height over time. This light has two different ways to adjust: 1. Use 1, 2, or all 3 of the post sections. Check out the picture from the listing that I attached. You’ll see that in the lowest position, 31.2″ high, only the section with the LED head is attached directly to the base. If you add another section, you will add 16″ of height, and with the third section, another 16″. 2. Use the adjustment that is part of the section with the LED head. That provides about 13″ of adjustment. Really nice light – you can cover anywhere from the 31.2″ to 63″ all with this one lamp. 5 Stars for this nicely designed and well made light. ================================================================== Couple of extra things – * In looking at the other reviews, one person mentioned that there was a “lens” loose in the box. That does indeed snap into the LED head to protect the LED’s. On mine, it was not snapped in all the way, I just gave it a little push and it locked in. * I was impressed with the base, it’s heavy enough so that the light doesn’t not feel “tippy”. And it has 4 cushioned feet that will protect your floor and provide the space needed for the wire to run out under.

   The lighy is very sturdy. The light is a little bit yellow, but it works. The timer works. The light adjusts to be taller or shorter very easily. I like it overall.
