Wait—remind me why I’m spending $10 for a 60 watt equivalent bulb?
This bulb diffuses light in all directions so as to be useless unless it’s inserted into the center of a plant canopy. I can’t get a satisfactory ppfd measurement unless I’m three inches away.

I bought this to supplement the amount of decreasing light that we get during the winter, so that my plants, including a citrus tree, would get a good 12 to 14 hours of sunlight. Since I’m not using it for growing seeds currently I placed it 30 inches above the plants. They are definitely happy with their new source of light. The citrus tree has actually started growing new leaves.
