This lamp is so much better looking than any other grow light I could find. It’s also incredibly tall, but can be made shorter by removing a section of the stand if needed. The only issue is that it is very top heavy. The base is heavy enough to even it out when used on a solid floor. However, it doesn’t stand up straight when on carpet. Luckily, the base is hidden in a corner for me, so I was able to just set a weight on top of it to make it steady. It’s worth noting that this light only has one strength level as well, where other grow lights often have high-medium-low. There is a timer for 4-8-12 hours though, as others usually have. Overall, the aesthetics of this lamp greatly overshadowed the minor issues I had with it. I may buy another one for my living room.

With a few small changes this could be the perfect grow light.
The good: It was shockingly well packed! It seems to be well made, nice and sturdy, light is bright and easy to adjust direction.
Could be better: There is no brightness control, the cord could be longer to allow timer to sit on a nightstand/table, but most importantly I wish it was telescopic so the stand could be raised or lowered. It is very tall, and far from the plants.

I love this light. Not only is it stylish, it puts out a great deal of light. I have several types of plant grow lights, and this one is far superior to the others in terms of light intensity and coverage. The base is heavy, keeping the lamp firmly sitting in place. The height and lamp are adjustable. I liked it so much, I bought another one. This one is pricey compared to my other lights, but it’s worth the additional cost. I found this light at a home building box store and the price was $30 more, so happy I found it here. Relatively easy to assembly, just make sure you know the height you need first. And you can buy replacement bulbs. Plus it’s taller than the majority of so-called tall lights. Happy!
